In November, when all the international brands were coming out with all drool-worthy gift sets, I had made my lust list (you can see that post here) and one of the items on my wish list was the Sephora by OPI Tinsel Town Nail Polish Collection.
My sister-in-law read (my bhabhi) read that post and co-incidentally went shopping to Sephora later that day. And then, she saw, she liked, she bought!!! Yup, she bought two of those, one for herself and one for me...such a pretty Christmas gift isn't it. And one of my bro's friend was coming to Bombay so they sent it with him. Thanks M for this gift :)
Anyway, getting back to this set, it has such lovely colours!!!! And I just love the small cute bottles. Just the perfect size I feel coz I can anyway never finish a bottle of polish. It almost always starts separating even before I've finished half and then I give it away, so these bottles are just right.
This set also has colours which I have never worn before, green, grey, blue....so now with these babies, I can try out these colour too. Plus it has four glitter polishes, transparent with multi coloured glitter, transparent with grey glitter and silver chunky glitter, a red with silver and red glitter and a full sized top coat which is transparent with tiny and chunky gold glitter. This one set is all you need for a multitude of nail art looks, not that I do any nail art. I think I seriously don't need to buy any more nail polishes for a year!
I couldn't take my eyes of this gorgeous set and I also couldn't decide which colour to wear first. Finally, I decided on I Don't Bite, a shimmery blue tinged with purple, since blue is a colour I haven't worn before. And for the accent nail, I applied Justa' Pinch of Glitter on the ring finger.
The polishes have quite a thin consistency and the first coat looks a bit streaky with hardly any colour. But because it is thin, you can easily apply three coats without the polish looking clumpy or goopy and the final colour is beautiful. Being OPI, I'm sure they will last well too, except for the tips which always fade after two days no matter which polish I use. I guess that's just me.
Anyway, enjoy the pics...
